Inspection of Model Setup

Once you’ve established a working model setup, it’s important to inspect the model setup and outputs to ensure that the model is running as expected. This includes checking for any issues with the mesh, boundary conditions, and time stepping that may arise during the simulation.

First, we have a python command line utility called bds precheck that performs a series of checks on the model setup to identify potential issues. More details are found in the links below:
